Title: Clinical Use of Ozonated Saline Solution Infusion

Abstract

The scope of the study was to observe, through clinical and laboratory studies,
the intensity parameters of the symptoms presented by the patients (pain in the
lower extremities of neuropathic origin, as well as vascular origin) and their
evolution when treated with ozonized physiological saline solution (SSO3).
The methodology of the study: Patients who had long-standing pathologies
involving the lower extremities, either of neuropathic origin or circulatory
disorders that came with already established diagnoses or undiagnosed patients,
but with symptoms of neurocirculatory pathology. It included: Diabetics with
years of controlled evolution and patients with circulatory disorders. Selection
of the sample: Number of patients 10, number of applications 100. Diabetic
patients 7, Patients with circulatory disorders 3. Gender: 8 female, 2 males. Age
between 44 to 62 years. To assess the results, a survey was carried out in which
clinical data related to the symptomatology that patients refer to (pain, cramps,
alterations in sensation, paresthesias, as well as alterations in their muscular
strength) were asked, assessing their intensity. Results: Assessing the scale of
the before and after the following data could be verified: Pungent pain, there
was 50 % improvement. Paresthesias in legs, 50 % improvement. Plantar
paresthesia, improvement 71 %. Alterations of sensitivity, improvement of
66.7. Cramps, 60 % improvement. Decrease in muscle strength, without
changes. Conclusions Because it is a preliminary observational study, the
conclusions of this study have limited value. However, the vast majority of
patients reported significant improvement in their symptoms, as well as general
symptoms such as better general condition, mood and restful sleep. The
application of SSO3 at the arterial level provides the opportunity to have fields
of application where there are neurological circulatory compromises and
perhaps systemic effects that will have to be investigated in chronic
degenerative diseases and in the field of neurology with arterial applications.
The application of SSO3 at the intra- arterial level together with various
applications of AHTM and other routes of ozone therapy application can
improve the patient's health status, glucose levels and circulation. It is a simple
technique that should be included in the regular practice of ozone therapy. The
application of Ozonated Saline Solution may contribute to a direct action on the improvement of
neuro-neuropathic disorders.
